This institute is designed to promote the research and technology for the dissemination of practices that will have as their goal to protect, save and preserve the aquatic systems and material resources that refer as much to the consumption inside the buildings, as in the water consumption for the irrigation of the surroundings. Within this field is included the protection of surface and groundwater that are fed by the actions above. Finally, it includes the dissemination of practices to minimize waste disposal and garbage, especially in the industry sector.
