The Greek Ministry of Environment, Energy & Climate Change announced in August 2013 the results of the Program "Green roofs on public buildings". According to this program 28 public schools and buildings will be financed for roof vegetation through the National Strategic Reference Framework, which is funding from Cohesion Policy of the European Union. The funding for the program is almost 14,800,000 €.
